Problem Solving Leader MEX

Objective
Responsible for leading the structured resolution of internal and external quality issues at the organizational level in Mexico. Works closely with Manufacturing Technology Leaders and plant process engineering teams. Oversees a small team and serves as a technical reference in problem analysis and resolution methodologies. The role includes defining corrective actions, structuring the problem-solving process within the organization, generating executive reports, and contributing to the development of technical standards through improvement projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead structured resolution of quality issues
- Apply analysis methodologies (8D, A3, Six Sigma, Red-X)
- Define corrective actions in collaboration with plants
- Coordinate team efforts in problem-solving projects
- Participate in defining the problem-solving process
- Contribute to the improvement of technical standards
- Access and contribute to the lessons learned system
- Provide technical support for complex issues
- Train teams in problem-solving methodologies
Position Requirements
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
Preferred: Master’s degree in quality engineering, Operations Management, or Continuous Improvement.
Professional Experience
- 6+ years of Automotive manufacturing experience
- 3+ Experience leading complex problem-solving projects
- 3+ Strong command of structured technical analysis methodologies
- 3+ Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and manufacturing plants
- 3+ Practical knowledge of Core Tools and quality standards
- 3+ Ability to train and lead technical teams
Languages
• English: Advanced / Fluent
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt)
- Certificación en Red-X o Kepner-Tregoe (deseable)
- APQP / PPAP / FMEA / MSA / SPC
