Process Sr. Engineer
Objective
Provide support in quality management and continuous improvement initiatives for new programs.
Collaborate during product launches with Product Engineering to develop quality documentation and support functional testing of molding equipment.
Engage early with the team to understand current quality concerns for the program before transferring this product.

Main Responsibilities
Drive internal scrap reduction initiatives, ensuring systematic root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
Provide engineering support for new product launches, ensuring process readiness and alignment with customer requirements.
Lead the daily process engineering fundamentals, including scrap review, audits, tooling status, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Design Reviews.
Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Product Engineering, and Production to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with standards.
Support problem-solving activities (8D, Six Sigma, Lean tools) to enhance process capability and reduce variability.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects aligned with plant KPIs (OEE, scrap reduction, productivity).
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industria Engineering, Materials or Mechanical
- 4-5 years in similar roles within the automotive industry.
