Project Engineer 5&6
Objective
General management of the project from timing generation, compliance with key dates, compliance with CAPEX (full responsibility) budget, monitoring, and assurance in compliance with the different stages of the program including, in addition to the suppliers, the personnel of the different departments involved (Projects, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Product, Processes and Operations).
Main Responsibilities
- Define the timing of the program and allocate resources by complying with key dates, keep timing updated and generate reports in case of delay. You must ensure that the project stages continue to progress according to the progress of the timing.
- Prepare status reports for use with investors.
- Generate and follow up on the purchases of the equipment in accordance with the specification defined by the manufacturing area and purchase of products or services necessary for the operation of the equipment, generation of service engineering and installation, manage and follow up on the suppliers in the phases of design, manufacture, shipping, installation, commissioning and start-up.
- Define and enforce safety regulations during installation, commissioning, and start-up. Ensure engineering development, approval, manufacturing, validation, shipping, installation, commissioning, start-up, testing, documentation, training, and delivery times for equipment and services.
- Manage the budget (Capex) according to the different stages of the program and terms and conditions stipulated in the Purchase Order. Perform and manage the annual and monthly forecast.
- Validate estimates and follow-up of supplier invoicing to ensure the Forecast.
- Plan and coordinate the installation of equipment and services through the comprehensive manufacturing plan, conceptual and concept catalogs.
- Hold follow-up meetings with suppliers identifying critical points and try to mitigate risks.
- Identify the resources required, select the appropriate program personnel and assign individual responsibilities for the installations of equipment and services, follow up on the assigned resources ensuring the objectives set.
- Negotiate the use of the required resources through a matrix of programs and necessary resources.
- Make purchase requests, follow up on supplier quotes, generate technical evaluation and committee presentations, follow up on committee presentations and generate purchase orders.
- Guarantee the standard of the installations in accordance with the required equipment.
- Comply with Visual Factory requirements.
- Ensure zero accidents during installations.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related careers.
- Desirable Master’s in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent career.
- PMP Project Management, Project Planning, Risk Management, Management and Reporting, Budget Management and Control, Problem Solving, MS Office & MS, ProjectTS 16949, PSW, PPAP, ANPQP, APQP.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as Project Leader / Project Coordinator / Project Engineer Project and budget Management General technical knowledge in all disciplines: mechanical, electrical, process.
- English Proficient Required.
- Desirable Basic German.
