Purchasing BP Leader
Objective
Liaise with plants and central teams purchasing requests and results performance. (All negotiation and panel definition led by Categories, exclusive and punctual negotiation led by plant, RFQ by plant on behalf of category) Collaborate in AXIS initiatives, attend plant tours and ensure the integration of SLA as part of the evaluations of operational and functional areas (definition with SSC too)
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure follow-up processes for purchasing requests regarding services and materials for plants, supporting and collaborating with purchasing teams established in plants. (unique window interface between central areas and plant functions)
- Receive first-hand escalation processes and area/plant needs and provide timely solutions (Root-Cause Analysis, etc.) & ensure leadership on claim management towards suppliers (Quality, Logistics, payment issues...)
- Verify and monitor adherence and compliance of established purchasing processes and policies in plants and functional areas.
- Communicate, deploy, and drive implementation various initiatives from COEs to plant and functional areas, including cost reduction/optimization initiatives.
- Management of cost reduction initiatives with plants and functional areas, as well as new ideas generated and project execution in a single list of projects for plants.
- Purchase 2 Pay - including samples for Propulsion/ICE programs (excluding SSC scope)
- Lead the programs developed in HPDC ALA site & accountable for specs validation, testing, technical approval at plant (powertrain & indirect).
- Analysis of monthly results and cost reduction projects, reporting results by categories (executive summaries).
Position Requirements
- Education: Degree in Business administration, Finance, Engineering or similar.
- Experience: Purchasing, Programs Development, Testing, technical approval at plant (powertrain & indirect). Change Management. Certifications:
-CPIM APICS- Desirable. - Skills: Desired: Results Oriented-Customer Oriented, Collaboration, Innovation and Creativity
- Languages: English – Proficient
