Quality Assurance & Control Leader MACH

 

Objective

Ensure the quality of the product throughout the production process, lead the audit system and integrate customer complaints and controls. It develops and manages verification stations and control laboratories, as well as efficiency and effectiveness indicators.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Audit the quality documentation at each workstation (Visual aids of defects, check list of initial samples, Report of destructive parts, dimensional report).
  • Report quality findings during the process and follow up on actions for closure. (PT-11 generation) and defect logging by workstation.
  • Attend to customer complaints through the methodology of 8D's, 5W's, 5D's, etc.
  • Monitor customer portals and keep information up to date.
  • Document lessons learned from claims or repeat defects in the process.
  • Define the acceptance criteria for parts to be shipped to the customer.
  • Attend audits and visits by customers.
  • Develop PPAP formats and launch formats requested by the client.
  • Deploy quality alerts, containments, and classification of OK and NOOK inventories

 

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or related)
  • Master's Degree: Quality and Productivity Management, MBA or similar desirable
  • Skills/Certifications: Green Belt (Required), Black Belt (Desirable), Apprentice or Journeyman (Desirable).
  • Experience: 5 years in Quality (Required), 1 year in Engineering (Desirable), 3 years in Operations (Desirable).
  • Languages: Advanced English Level
