Quality Manager
Objective
Manage and direct the Plant Quality Control functions and resources required to translate our customer's requirements into processes and systems that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain favorable relationships with the plant customers through visitation programs, prompt attention to complaints, and assuring the shipment of quality parts; Inform customers about the preventative actions and implemented improvements carried out in the company.
- Maintain system of quality control procedures that assures compliance to customers' quality requirements including TS16949 and ISO 14001.
- Identify the best system and operational practices determined through audits.
- Manage the actions regarding the Customers' quality incidences.
- Manage and promote teamwork, taking the continued improvement and preventative policy as basic working tools.
- Work with other managers to achieve waste reduction and initiate continuous improvement practices.
- Evaluate and arrange external classifications and re-working operations in order to guarantee the quality of the already shipped products.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in quality, Engineering, Manufacturing preferred
- Experience: 8-10 years' previous experience as Quality Manager and automotive industry, Six Sigma training, black belt or green belt, ISO 9000, 14000, 14001, TS16949 and IATF certified auditor
- At least 3 years as Quality Manager position, Experience with APQP processes
- Language: Advanced English
