Objective

Develop Research & Development projects aimed at innovative products and processes that result in competitive advantages and/or technological barriers ensuring company´s technological leadership. Support and advise on new programs (feasibility analysis) and operations (failure analysis), as well as generate cost reduction projects.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Support to the R&D department in the raw materials analysis such as sands and resins; materials testing, both in laboratory and in plant.
  • Perform laboratory tests (mechanical properties, materials performance, physical and chemical analysis, etc.) and technical support in plant (process audit, industrial equipment validations)
  • Prepare technical reports, either for the R&D area or for plant.
  • Support the raw material homologation and cost reduction projects in the different plants.
  • Participate in innovation projects.

 

Position Requirements

  • Career: Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Physics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and related careers. (5th to 8th semester)
  • Technical Skills: Materials lab equipment, chemical/physical lab equipment. Data analysis.
  • Behavioral Skills: Proactive, responsible, problem-solving.
  • English advanced
