Resident Engineer 

 

Objective

Represent Nemak at supplier plants, being the first point of contact and attention. Responsible for ensuring that the break point is 100% established.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Review and report on quality complaints that Nemak issues to the supplier and monitor inventory levels on an ongoing basis and take appropriate action to make them available.
  • Control how many parts are being declared as scrap and check the data against the parts physically at each of the scrap segregation points in the machining line and customer plant.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, rejection and special reports at the customer plant, ensuring that Nemak receives clear and easy to understand information of the events at the plants.                                                                                                                                    .

Position Requirements

  • Education: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechanical
  • Experience: GDT, 8D problem solving, Kaizen, Leadership
  • English: Proficient
