HSE Engineer NAN
Nanjing, Jiangsu, China

Objective
Ensure compliance in NAN's environmental, health, and safety areas. Identify risks and potential issues in the workshop, implement appropriate corrective measures to improve working conditions and reduce environmental impact, and ultimately achieve sustainable development.
Main Responsibilities
- Apply for required certificates and/or inspection-and- acceptance from authorities as per regulations; obtain, archive and maintain official documents/certificates. Including health\safety\environment and fire involved.
- Join other engineers to compile technical specifications for projects to ensure that all the requirements regarding environmental protection, fire protection, safety, industrial health and hygiene are properly specified per legal requirements
- Review and approval, focusing on HSE matters, the project proposal, design and construction plan done by others.
- Evaluate suppliers in respect of the qualifications of HSE regularly audit the key suppliers, ensure a healthy supplier chain.
- Monitor construction on site: organize the inspection-and-acceptance; assure compliance with established HSE policies and procedures; promote good practice of safe working behavior.
- Focus on the ISO operation and certificates effective, legal compliance assessment, regularly review the legal status of NAN and take following up actions.
- Focus on work shop to improve employee environment, heath, and safety behavior and create HSE culture by series actions or events.
- As contact window with government to keep smooth communication and drive the actions or requirements from government.
Position Requirements
- Has an educational background related to environment, safety, mechanical, and technical engineering etc.
- Good communication skills and a high level of maturity in daily work.
- Could Take the initiative and Drive the result
- Registered Safety Engineer is preferred
- Having experience in the casting or furnace industry would be a plus
- Problem Solving Techniques and lean thinking would be plus.
