Finance Internal Control & Governance Intern
Objective
Responsible for ensuring the publication of documents (policies, procedures, etc.) on the company's internal portal (My Nemak) through an electronic approval process in order to guarantee timely completion of the activities requested for certifications and/or audits adding value to Nemak by improving the Governance & Internal Control environment assuring that documents are appropriate and are being followed in order to achieve the organizational objectives, safeguard the assets of the business, prevent and detect frauds and ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
Main Responsibilities
- Process all document requests (creation, update, and/or deletion).
- Communicate the status of published documents so that, if necessary, they can be updated (applies to documents that were reviewed more than 2 years ago) or deleted.
- Process all RQS’s (Request for Quotation) requirements
- Support the department’s e-learning campaigns to achieve 96% or higher compliance
- Support in several activities for specific governance projects (Analysis, investigation, presentations, etc.)
Position Requirements
- Education: Active college student at least one year left before graduation.
- Technical Competences: Use of Excel, PowerPoint, and other business software.
- Languages: English – Proficient.
- Soft Competences: Effective communication, organization, attention to detail, teamwork, Decision making, Action Oriented.
