Tooling Leader SALT

 

Objective

Coordinate tooling team members to the correct follow up of activities, ensuring the correct functionality and manufacture of tooling with internal and external suppliers.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Tracks both part model and tool database engineering revision levels.
  • Maintaining deliveries on time and respecting the budgets and characteristics necessary to comply with the metrics established by the program, guaranteeing that the specifications are met by suppliers and supporting the development of new products with coordination of internal and external changes requested during the life of the program and their implementation.
  • Create and maintain a standardization matrix for all tools in rotation that tracks the implementation of verified roadmap corrective actions.
  • Track tool rotation and tool life and maintain future renewal forecasts.

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree bachelor’s in industrial engineering, or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Machining knowledge, gravity casting process – sand casting, Rota-cast, etc.
  • Languages: English conversational.
  • Experience: 5+Tooling Design; 2+ Project Management.
