Objective
Responsible for new programs launching, meeting customer milestones on time, keeping tooling budget and objectives under control. Be the main contact point for the customer, preparing and following up the launching curve and timing of the new programs as well as the M-1 programs. Supporting Commercial and Marketing to obtain new and profitable business.
Main Responsibilities
- Introduce Nemak technology and capabilities to any potential customers in front of AE and Sales, understand customer design trend and new technology requirements, help Nemak growth in China market.
- Support the successful launch of new programs according to the NPDS/EXCEL. To be the main contact point for our customer during the launching of new programs. Close contact with customers to develop proactive positive relationships
- Coordinate the quality improvement & action plan between Nemak, local JV customers and International global part of our customer (For example, Nemak, CAF and Ford NA/Europe)
- Identify weak links in process / departments which need to be countermeasure and fulfill to get the job done
- Development of integrated project plan and budget for compliance of internal and external objectives, ensuring the availability of information for related functions to complete their activities.
- Coordination of assigned Project Team and assignation of priorities and resources required
- Align program objectives and resources to company long term profitability target, assure and maximize company and customer resources for the project success
- Streamlining of the ATTASK system and full understanding of NPDS methodology, coordination of weekly New Programs Meeting
- Compliance to tight time schedules and challenging budget limitations without compromising results
- Timely generation of executive reports of project status and deliverables for management and customer
Position Requirements
- Bachelor degree and above in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering related
- 8+ years’ related experience, strong automotive industry background, preferably with aluminum casting industry experience
- Family with local and multinational OEMs and their requirements
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English
