Objective

Will take the lead in understanding, implementing, and training the best methods of recruiting for Nemak USA/CAN Business Unit. The right person will initiate and implement both traditional and passive recruiting strategies for salaried and indirect skilled hourly positions in a fast paced manufacturing environment. This position will also work collaboratively with members of HR, Operations, and Management teams to identify, select, and retain a highly skilled workforce.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process to meet the needs of multiple sites within the business unit, including creating requisitions, job descriptions and performance profiles, managing job postings, conducting interviews, extending offers, coordinating background checks and drug screens.
  • Manage and ensure a positive candidate experience through the selection and onboarding process.
  • Builds applicant sources by identifying and researching community services, colleges, recruiters, media, and internet sites
  • Develop and implement innovative strategic initiatives for recruiting talent in a multi-site organization including University relations program

 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in Talent Acquisition, HR, Recruiting, or related functional areas
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (TMS)
  • Understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and employee benefits
  • Customer-focused, adaptable, with strong follow-up and organizational skills
