Objective

 

The Asset Reliability Engineer is responsible for failure avoidance through management of maintenance plans 

 

Main Responsibilities

 

 

•  Candidate will work closely with the maintenance execution teams.
•  Tasks will include the review and improvement or the maintenance management system. This will be achieved thru benchmarking and best practice implementations.
•  Data analysis of uptime including MTTR and MTBF. Conversion of this data analysis into corrective and preventive actions to improve metrics.
•  Develop close working relationships with equipment OEM, These relationships will be used as the main interface between maintenance and the OEM for technical support and training needs.
•  The reliability engineer must work closely with the mechanical engineer and maintenance to ensure the preventive and predictive maintenance programs are effective for sustainment and improvement as well as compliant to our customer and ISO requirements.
•  Must work closely with the product launch teams to ensure all the maintenance deliverables for new equipment are achieved. This will include the review and initial set up of all critical and recommended spare parts and preventive maintenance documentation.

 

Position Requirements

 

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related field preferred.

• English

• Minimum 3 years' reliability engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Automotive Manufacturing a plus

•CMMS expertise and experience required. SAP expertise a plus.
