Global HSE Assurance Manager
Objective
Ensure Global HSE Framework is fully embedded across Nemak. Responsible for compliance with current health and safety legislation, company policies and procedures, and other legal obligations.
Main Responsibilities
- Monitor, assist and advise global HSE Systems Management to comply with processes.
- Ensure that global HSE audits, inspections and investigations are conducted, assessed and measured.
- Influences Operations Management to embed global HSE and Energy Systems Management culture and standards that assess business risk and facilitates decision making.
- Provide support and guidance to operational teams to implement HSE performance standards, and asset protection loss control projects.
- Audit and report on the performance of manufacturing operations.
- Ensure that any compliance issues/concerns are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved as well as looking for opportunities to improve effectiveness.
- Collaborate and provide input to properly develop training programs to comply HSE Standards.
- Collaborate with Third Party Certification companies.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in HSE, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Eng.
- Advanced English and Spanish
- Certified ISO Lead Auditor (Required)
- Global HSE manufacturing experience (automotive desired)
- Demonstrated managerial leadership.
- Experience conducting HSE audits and inspections, ensuring HSE compliance, and leading HSE compliance training.
- Solid understanding of HSE practices, systems and approaches
- Audit experience and qualifications audit including standards, practices, methodologies, auditing/certification, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
