Global HSE Standards & Systems Manager
Objective
Responsible for the Global HSE Management System Framework implementation and monitoring. Promotes a positive HSE Culture with influence across Nemak; including governance, controls and reporting, HSE audit of external and internal networks and related HSE aspects to comply with legal, regulatory requirements and internal standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, plan and drive implementation of global policies to reduce current and future HSE risks and liabilities.
- Subject matter expert on global HSE Framework Systems Management topics and programs as required.
- Global HSE Systems Management Framework and related KPIs, monitors performance, and ensures accurate reporting of relevant data.
- Manages global asset protection loss control projects.
- Advises the business partners.
- Guides Operations leadership on compliance requirements internally and externally.
- Global HSE Framework Systems Management assurance, supported by internal and external audits.
- Manages global HSE digitalization projects.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in HSE, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Eng
- ISO Lead Auditor (Required)
- HSE manufacturing experience (automotive desired)
- Demonstrated leadership in driving a program / system of safety or environmental in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience conducting HSE inspections, ensuring HSE compliance, and leading HSE compliance training.
- Knowledge of HSE regulatory environment and associated risks, as well as methods to eliminate / minimize those risks.
- Advanced English and Spanish
