Objective  
Provide leadership and direction of repairs to the maintenance personnel as needed to support both Plant maintenance activities as a site. Responsibilities may include the hands on repair and maintenance of all equipment and machinery. Inspections, testing, and adjustment of all plant systems, equipment, and machinery. Preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment, machinery, buildings and grounds. Perform all tasks requested by the Manager, and/or other management personnel. Position is directly responsible for managing the maintenance activities of personnel/contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing of equipment/facility for that shift.  
Main Responsibilities  
 
  • Supervise a crew of multi-craft maintenance technicians following a shift pattern that matches the production schedule.
  • Direct the corrective and preventive maintenance tasks required within the maintenance plan.
  • Follow all Safety and HR policies prescribed by the plant policy. Ensure all the technicians are following the policies provided.
  • Complete all timekeeping requirements for the shift maintenance techs on shift.
  • Communicate with the other departments so that cross functional projects can be completed on time.

Position Requirements  
  • Industrial Maintenance Certification/Degree or equivalent experience
  •  Must have a maintenance or engineering background that includes electrical and / or mechanical expertise in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have office skills including email/excel/word etc...
  • Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and /or mechanical drawings.
