Objective  
The Quality Engineer is responsible for APQP deliverables, monitoring and reporting of quality performance, participation in corrective actions relative to quality concerns, and maintenance of customer relationships relative to plant quality performance.  
Main Responsibilities  
•Ensures that all potential failures created by internal processes are adequately controlled to ensure that the customer will not receive non-conforming product. Maintains quality standards to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements.
•Develops documentation pertaining to inspection, including gaging sheets and key documentation.
•Determines and implements production control plans and sufficient method of inspection for identified failure modes.
•Facilitates all root cause analysis investigation ensuring that all necessary documentation is updated.
•Manages customer relationships reporting internal and external quality concerns.
•Manages the actions with regard to customer’s quality incidents.
•ISO 14001:  Responsible to assure compliance with the HSE Policy and the ISO 14001 Standard. Additional requirements may be included in the EMS documentation.
•IATF: Responsible for understanding and complying with all site, corporate, regulatory and procedural environmental, safety, security, health, quality and human resources standards.
• Function as Quality Manager as needed in his/her absence
 
Position Requirements  
•  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of quality automotive experience and IATF 16949
Technical skills:
• APQP and PPAP
• GD&T
• CMM Layout and Interpretation 
Soft skills
• Customer focus
