Objective  
The Tooling Engineer is responsible for supporting production requests for die improvements, cavity replacement tooling builds, managing day to day dimensional issues, and carrying out validation of changes.  
Main Responsibilities  

• Analyzes tooling down time issues and works with cross functional teams to solve problems.
• Ensures product realization requirements, measurements, analysis, and improvements are met in order to ensure compliance with the quality policy and ISO/TS 16949 standard.
• Ensures assigned projects account for required procedures, operations controls, work instructions, maintenance, training, and recording keeping in order to ensure compliance with legal and policy requirements.
• Manages program tooling and related projects to ensure they meet plant standards, reviews for cost saving initiatives and down time improvements.
• Responsible to fulfill the requirements of verbal and written communications, procedures and work instructions, maintenance orders, training, and performing recordkeeping within assigned area(s) of responsibility in order to assure compliance with environmental policy, legal and other requirements, and the ISO 14001 Standard.
• Responsibilities for and authorized to ensure that product realization requirements, measurement, analysis and improvement are met in order to assure compliance with the quality policy and the ISO/TS 16949 Standard. • Pursuing an Associates or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
