Objective

 

As an Employee optical Measurement and Detection Systems (M/F/D), you will ensure the reliable operation, continuous optimization, and further development of optical measurement and detection systems to guarantee high measurement accuracy, process stability, and product quality. You will actively support production through analysis, error detection, and sustainable improvement of the systems.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Design, commissioning, and optimization of optical measurement, testing, and detection systems in automated production facilities
  • Implementation of image processing tasks (2D/3D) for quality control, position detection, identification, and robotics
  • Integration and parameterization of industrial vision systems, in particular:
    • Vision Tools V60
    • ABB Integrated Vision
    • Keyence 3D Robot Vision
    • Keyence DMC Reader (SR1000–2000, SR-X300)
    • Keyence IV (IV3 / IV4)
    • Keyence XG2900
  • Connection of vision systems to PLC and robot controllers
  • Support in the concept development of new automation solutions
  • Analysis and troubleshooting of malfunctions and optimization of existing systems
  • Documentation of systems and training of operating and maintenance personnel
  • Cooperation with design, electrical engineering, software, and external suppliers

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Completed technical training or degree (e.g., automation technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science)
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial image processing/machine vision
  • Experience with at least one of the following vision systems (Keyence, ABB, Vision Tools, or similar)
  • Programming skills in Siemens S7/TIA Portal
  • Basic knowledge of ABB robotics or ABB controllers
  • Understanding of automation processes, sensor technology, and industrial communication
  • Analytical and structured approach to work
  • Technical understanding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • German language skills (business fluent)
  • English language skills are an advantage
