IT Data Scientist (M/F/D)

Main Responsibilities
- Analysis of large amounts of data from production, logistics, and administration
- Development and implementation of machine learning and AI models for process optimization
- Establishment and maintenance of data pipelines and ensuring data quality
- Creation of dashboards, reports, and forecasting models for management
- Support for digitization projects, e.g., predictive maintenance, quality analysis, or energy efficiency
- Close cooperation with specialist departments (production, controlling, IT) to identify relevant use cases
- Collaboration on global Nemak digitization initiatives
Position Requirements
- Degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in data analytics/data science, ideally in an industrial environment
- In-depth knowledge of Python, R, or comparable programming languages
- Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch) is an advantage
- Confident use of visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Very good analytical skills, structured approach to work, and strong communication skills
- German and English fluent
