IT Data Scientist (M/F/D)

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Analysis of large amounts of data from production, logistics, and administration
  • Development and implementation of machine learning and AI models for process optimization
  • Establishment and maintenance of data pipelines and ensuring data quality
  • Creation of dashboards, reports, and forecasting models for management
  • Support for digitization projects, e.g., predictive maintenance, quality analysis, or energy efficiency
  • Close cooperation with specialist departments (production, controlling, IT) to identify relevant use cases
  • Collaboration on global Nemak digitization initiatives

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or comparable qualification
  • Initial professional experience in data analytics/data science, ideally in an industrial environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Python, R, or comparable programming languages
  • Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch) is an advantage
  • Confident use of visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Very good analytical skills, structured approach to work, and strong communication skills
  • German and English fluent
