IT Applications, Development & Support Sr Specialist (IT/OT Security & Resilience)
Objective
Serve as the critical on-site champion and "vehicle" for information security and network policy enforcement across manufacturing facilities. This role conducts hands-on verifications of regional network standards, actively protecting the physical and logical integrity of critical IT/OT interconnections. By validating local backup strategies, strengthening industrial gateways, and ensuring the network infrastructure bridging the plant environments is both highly resilient and audit-ready, you will directly safeguard production continuity against cyber risks.
Main Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity Compliance & Optimization: Partner with plant engineering and local teams to implement security baselines and networking best practices on industrial communication hardware without impacting active production lines.
- Secure Architecture Deployment: Physically implement, configure, and support secure network segments, gateways, DMZs, and conduits bridging IT enterprise networks and OT industrial automation control systems (IACS).
- Disaster Recovery & Backup Validation: Routinely verify, test, and document the viability of local, plant-level backup processes for critical operational assets (PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems) to guarantee rapid disaster recovery capabilities.
- Audit Readiness & Documentation: Support the regional OT Lead in gathering, reviewing, and maintaining technical "Evidence of Compliance" to satisfy internal audits, corporate ISMS policies, and automotive industry security regulations (e.g., TISAX, ISA/IEC 62443).
- Business Continuity Execution: Lead and provide hands-on technical support for local Business Continuity Plan (BCP) drills, zeroing in on emergency hardware recovery setups and bypass scenario testing.
- Infrastructure Mapping: Create and keep meticulously accurate "as-built" documentation, simple network topology diagrams, and inventory registers for interconnected systems across various manufacturing facilities.
- Network Health Monitoring: Monitor the operational health of the IT/OT network bridge, utilizing network monitoring tools to detect, evaluate, and promptly escalate network performance metrics and security anomalies before they threaten production uptime.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Cyber Security, or a closely related engineering field.
- Fluent English for interfacing with global teams.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience managing enterprise or industrial IT/Network systems.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT Systems.
- Technical Skills: Industrial Networking, Network Infrastructure, Industrial Systems Awareness, Security & Compliance Frameworks, Network & Log Tools.
- Soft skills: Proactive Adaptability, Analytical Problem-Solving, Detail-Oriented & Organized,
